Patient Release: Great Black-backed Gull This massive Great Black-backed Gull was admitted to our Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital in late February after he was found in Ocean City unable to fly. On admission, our Wildlife Rehabilitators suspected he had been hit by a car but had no major injuries. Incidentally, he also had an old fracture in his toe, likely from a previous impact injury.
