This female bear is sow #041, and she’s seen here with four cubs crossing in front of a trail camera in Clark County. If you look closely at the video, you can see that she is wearing a GPS tracking collar. This collar was placed during the DNR’s Black Bear Litter and Diet Survey, and it allows scientists to revisit the sows they’re studying across denning seasons.
