The NCLEX loves to ask about increased intracranial pressure & nursing management! 🧠So here are some points to remember: ⭐Normally, there is some pressure in the skull, and normal ICP is 10-15mmHg ❗Increased ICP = increased pressure in the brain, leading to additional pressure on the blood vessels which causes decreased oxygen flow to the brain EARLY signs of increased ICP include headache, restlessness, agitation, altered level of consciousness (these all indicate cerebral hypoxia or lack of O
